BOARD PHILOSOPHY

The St. John Fisher Men's Lacrosse Alumni Association is governed by former players who understand the program from the inside.

Our board is alumni-led, athlete-driven, and committed to strengthening Fisher lacrosse—on the field and beyond. Every decision is made with the long-term success of the program and its players in mind.

We believe the strongest programs are built by people who have lived the experience.

As former players, we understand:

  • What it takes to compete at a high level
  • The importance of strong team culture
  • The long-term impact of sustained support

Our role is to support the coaching staff, remove barriers for players, and ensure the program has the resources and connections it needs to succeed.

Kevin Bronson

Board Member - Acting Chair  ('15)

Kevin is an intellectual property attorney at two specialty law firms in Buffalo, New York. He also owns and manages an intellectual property consulting service. He is the Chair of the NativityMiguel Middle School of Buffalo Junior Board and sits on the Fortified Advisory Board. Kevin captained the 2015 men's lacrosse team and was awarded E8 Sportsman of the Year Honors in his final season. He lives in Buffalo with his wife and daughter.

Mitch Bailey

Board Member ('12)

Mitch is an attorney at a full-service law firm in Washington, D.C. Before entering private practice, he served on active duty as a judge advocate in the United States Army. Mitch captained the 2012 men's lacrosse team, earning All-American honors in his final season. He lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife and their three children.

Dennis Bell

Board Member ('08)

Dennis is the co-owner of a family business, Bell Mechanical, based in East Rochester, NY. He started the company in 2007 while finishing college, and the business provides commercial plumbing and HVAC services throughout upstate New York. Dennis was a captain of the 2008 team. He was born and raised in Penfield, NY, where he still lives today with his wife and their three daughters.

Ian Evans

Board Member ('22)

Ian graduated from Fisher in 2022 and is now a Firefighter with the Syracuse Fire Department. While at Fisher, Ian became the first Cardinal to receive the Empire 8 Player of the Year award, earned All-American accolades twice, and helped lead the team to three NCAA Tournament appearances. He now lives in Syracuse, NY, with his fiancée.

Andrew Rosso

Board Member ('18)

Andrew is an active duty orthopaedic surgeon serving in the United States Navy. While at Fisher, he was a two-time captain for the men's lacrosse team and earned All-American honors in his senior year. He continues to play competitive lacrosse in his free-time. Andrew lives in San Diego, California with his wife and two daughters.

Kyle Denhoff

Board Member ('12)

Kyle is a marketing executive for a publicly traded tech company. He's a retired MLL lacrosse player with seven years of experience and three All-Star selections. He currently resides in Fairport, NY with his wife and daughter.
